Clubbercise
Clubbercise is a euphoric cardio workout set to a soundtrack of banging club anthems from 90’s classics to the latest chart hits. Sessions are taught with nightclub-style lighting and everyone uses Clubbercise-branded LED glow sticks. The easy-to-follow routines are a fusion of dance, toning and combat with high and low impact options to suit everyone.

FitSteps
The brainchild of former Strictly Come Dancing professionals, Ian Waite & Natalie Lowe, FitSteps combines the graceful steps of the Ballroom with the up-tempo Latin steps. FitSteps is a fast paced but easy to follow class, covering a host of Strictly style dances all in one workout giving you an all over body workout.
There is no need for a partner and it is suitable for all ages & abilities! Whether you love a cheeky Cha Cha Cha or a passionate Paso Doble, you can dance them all with FitSteps and it’s so much fun it doesn’t feel like a workout!

KETTFusion
With quirky fitness classes having a huge impact on the fitness industry, let’s take time to speak to Michael Ross, founder and creator of KETTFusion.
What is KETTFusion?
KETTFusion is a 50 or 60 minute class that fuses lightweight kettlebells, with martial arts exercises to deliver a full body cardio, strength, stamina and conditioning workout.
How popular is KETTFusion?
Very, and becoming more so as more and more instructors qualify. We can be found mainly in the North West and North East, and now in Ireland, Spain and Italy.
Why do you think the class has become so popular?
The great music and its specific BPM (beats per minute) is an integral part of KETTFusion. It acts a little like a personal trainer, encouraging you to work a little harder. Using up to 600 calories in a class is very achievable, but there is always an emphasis, depending on your fitness, to scale that down. At the core, is the importance of ‘enjoying’ the workout. So fun is also a big part of the class. I wanted a class that would appeal to everyone, regardless of their age, size or ability. And then there is the music. We use a variety of different music genres, from popular or retro music for the kettlebell section, and then African tribal/Tabata type rhythms for the martial arts exercise section.
Musical Theatre Fitness
Musical Theatre Fitness began in July 2020 and we have since expanded into 5 different class types and a UK wide franchise for our most popular class ‘Work It Out’, which is endorsed by EMD UK. We offer online and in person group exercise classes along with on demand content for our online members. ‘Work It Out’ provides an all-levels 45-minute dance cardio fitness workout that combines the love of musical theatre with a bootcamp HIIT session and dance fitness moves. Taught by fitness professionals and musical performers our tracks range from slow to fast, and help to develop stamina and strength, boost your heart health, help you destress, improve co-ordinate and overall fitness, whilst having lots of fun and singing along!
We currently host in person classes in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, London, Llandudno, and at sea; onboard the Celebrity Cruises. We are expanding and always looking to take on more musical loving instructors around the UK.
Our ethos is to inspire people to find joy in exercise. Living and moving the body, however we can, should be joyous and we want to provide classes and a community for anyone and everyone who simply wants a fun way to promote their physical and mental health and wellbeing. Remember that life is a journey, and if you fall in love with the journey, you will be in love forever.
NR CHI Serenity Sound Bath
Sonia Sonique Smith is a Reiki Master and holistic therapist. They will be facilitating a unique sound healing session at FIT JAM this year. Join her for a soothing sound bath experience designed to help you relax, release tension, and rejuvenate. We’ll begin with gentle meditation and breathwork to center yourself, followed by a harmonious blend of sounds from quartz crystal chakra bowls, Tibetan bowls, shamanic drums, and more. These vibrations, combined with healing energy, are intended to bring balance, peace, release built up emotional energy and trigger deep relaxation.
Sound healing can reduce stress, improve sleep, enhance meditation, and support spiritual growth. Come co-create a space of love and healing and let’s share the positive energy together!

Zumba
Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training alternating fast and slow rhythms and resistance training.

Lyrical Dance
A choreographed lyrical inspired dance class that is completely low impact and easy to follow. Allow yourself to enjoy a softer and more gentle way of moving the body whilst you embrace your softer side.
Time Tunnel
Sing and dance along to the top tunes from the 70s, 80s & 90s in this low impact but highly addictive and energizing aerobic workout.
Pure Relaxation
A blend of slow yoga moves and gentle stretching that focus on relaxing both the body and the mind. Each session finishes with a calming meditation to ensure you leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Walk & Work
A low impact cardio class that will have you walking, shaking, singing and sweating your way through your workout.
With no squats or lunges in sight, this fun and easy to follow but non-stop session will prove to you just how easy it is to walk your way through an entire class.

SILENT DISCO
Fun, easy to follow dance aerobics routines with music from the 80s, 90s and present-day hits, to have you singing your workout away. Class taught via LED headsets to offer a completely different way to workout.
LEGS, BUMS & TUMS
This body weight class will have you hitting those 3 main areas that everyone wants to tone, your LEGS BUMS & TUMS. We will be squatting and lunging our way through this session all to the beat of the music. Bring a mat for the floor work / abs part.
Mel Bridger
Mel will be teaching the following classes at FIT JAM North:
Salsa
Mel has been teaching Salsa since 1999, a former teacher, choreographer, and promoter, she travelled the world teaching and performing to 1000s of people. Salsa means ‘Sauce’ and is a great description of a dance that is the perfect blend of many other dances such as Boogaloo, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, Rhumba but name but a few! Mel teaches a fun salsa class which she adapts for many, ensuring that anyone can channel their inner Latin diva.
